Pitti Filati n° 97

Pitti Filati n° 97 has just ended.

The artistic atmosphere of our stand, inspired by Kandinsky's abstract works, was ideal for appreciating the numerous proposals of our Fall/Winter 26/27 collection, rich in new yarns with a sophisticated allure, made with noble fibers and the result of sustainable production.

Among the most appreciated items we can mention SIMOS, a very light yarn with a delicate hand like a caress, in 75% precious superkid mohair and 25% schappe silk.

In the alpaca world, the most selected yarns are AREQUIPA, a very soft blend of baby alpaca and merino wool, slightly hairy and cocooning, and MALVASIA, a mix of sustainable alpaca and wool with a handmade look, artisanal and chic at the same time.

Alpes Manifattura Filati is pleased to invite you to the 97th edition of Pitti Filati, which will be held in Florence from 1 to 3 July 2025, at the Fortezza da Basso.

We will welcome you to our stand inspired by the famous abstract art of Vasily Kandinsky, with its colored shapes and lines chasing each other on the canvas, capable of evoking powerful emotions and engaging imaginary worlds, the result of a creative process similar to a musical composition.

Immersed in this sophisticated atmosphere, we will have the pleasure of presenting our FW 26-27 yarn collection, with many new features under the banner of sustainable production and natural compositions of the highest quality.

Immersed in the world of abstract painting by Mondrian, master of harmony and perfect balance between lines and primary colors, we had the pleasure of presenting our SS 2026 collection, rich in fine yarns and focused on sustainability.

Among the most appreciated new products, we can mention CALDOLINO RWS, an interseasonal yarn in which the warmth of wool is combined with the vegetal feel of linen, and WOOLCOTT, a beautiful cord with a very soft feel and clean appearance in a composition of compact combed cotton and extra-fine merino wool.

Also very select are KALEIDOS, a multicolor fantasy yarn with a Chanel-style micro bouclé effect, and MUFFIN, a light cord, proposed in denim-effect nuances, particularly on trend.

We breathed a decidedly artistic atmosphere at the Alpes stand/atelier, inspired by the works of the great masters of the impressionist movement, whose 150th anniversary is celebrated this year.

Among frames, canvases, colors and brushes, we had the pleasure of presenting the Autumn/Winter 2025/2026 yarn collection, particularly focused on the finest and most precious fibres, available in a sustainable and certified version.

Among the most popular new yarns, we mention the LANAPIU' RWS series with Responsible Wool Standard certified extrafine merino wool and recycled polyamide, available in three counts all in stock service, and AFTHER RWS, a beautiful cord in superkid mohair, RWS wool and GRS polyamide, very soft and enveloping .

PITTI FILATI n° 94

Just a week has passed since Pitti Filati n° 94 and it is pleasant, for us at Alpes, to think back to the many meetings we had with clients and designers, the handshakes, the spontaneous demonstrations of trust and appreciation for our company.

The "SPACE MOOD" setting, ironic and playful, certainly favored a relaxed and smiling atmosphere, perfect for fully concentrating on our new proposals.

The undisputed protagonist of the event was the Alpes SS 2025 collection, full of fine yarns and focused on sustainability.

Among the new entries, the BICYCLE yarn attracted attention, totally recycled and obtained from end-of-life tyres, the perfect realization of the concept of circular economy, with a surprisingly soft feel and easy care and moisture management performance.

Spotlight also on the range of BIO ETHIC certified organic cottons, combed with Compact technology for high stitch cleanliness, available at STOCK SERVICE and developed in a variety of counts, from large cords (also stretch), to very thin untwisted for gauze effects (CONTATTO BIO).

Our linen yarns, a naturally sustainable and highly trending fibre, are also widely sampled and appreciated, offered in new "green" combinations and in a certified recycled version (ETERNITY ECO), with increasingly large stock services (SINAI - SIRTE - ETERNITY).

Finally, we would like to highlight our yarns in shiny viscose (PARIS – NEXT) or metallic viscose (LUSSO), with a fluid and compact feel touch at the same time, and the vast range of stretch viscose (VAN - FASHION – VISCOW MULE), with various degrees of elasticity, also obtained from responsibly managed forests (FASHION ECO - GRAMIGNA).

Educational visit to Alpes plant in Rossano Veneto

At the Alpes plant in Rossano Veneto, today we hosted the students of the knitwear course of ITS Cosmo Institute - Fashion Academy of Conegliano, accompanied by prof. Braggion.

The boys, very attentive to the explanations of our managers, were able to visit a full-cycle spinning mill live, showing a strong interest in our company production reality, from the purchase of raw materials to the finished product, with numerous questions and insightful observations.

A profitable day of study for our guests and a wonderful opportunity for us at Alpes to let the new generations know the secrets of our work, which we have been passionate about for many years.
